Profile
David attended Medical School in Manchester, UK and qualified MBChB in 1988. He completed postgraduate training in London and Edinburgh including a Paediatric Anaesthesia fellowship.

Current Positions
Specialist Anaesthetist, Waitemata DHB; private practice, Anaesthesia Associates.
Administrative input to Anaesthesia Associates (Chairman 2013 to 2015), Southern Cross North Harbour (hospital clinical medical committee, 2012 to present).
Clinical Board Chair, Rodney Surgical Centre
Interests
Anaesthesia for:
· upper GI surgery including bariatric, reflux and cancer surgery
· joint replacement
· breast surgery
· cosmetic surgery
· hepatobiliary ( liver and gallbladder) surgery
Personal
David is married with four children, lives in Parnell and loves being a Kiwi. He is interested in staying fit and staying happy, motorcycling, current affairs and music.
