Dr Nav Sidhu studied medicine at the University of Auckland and worked as a junior doctor in Whanganui, New Plymouth, Palmerston North, Australia, and Auckland, before completing his Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists specialty training in 2011 with a fellowship in Regional Anaesthesia. Nav has a special interest in teaching, completing a Masters of Clinical Education (1st Class) and is a Fellow of the Academy of Medical Educators (UK). He works in the public sector at North Shore Hospital and Waitakere Hospital, and is a Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Auckland.
He is active in research and has published over 10 peer-reviewed journal papers. In his personal life, Nav enjoys spending time with family and tending to his comic book collection.
